Authentic Traditional Thai Massage in South West Scotland by an experienced and professional Thai practitioner.
A traditional Thai massage with Noi is a relaxing experience in the friendly and informal environment of her home in a small village in the Stewartry area of Dumfries & Galloway.
Thai massage is an interactive manipulation of the body using passive stretching and gentle pressure along energy lines.
This ancient form of massage dates back over 2500 years to the time of Buddha and could be described as a cross between shiatsu, acupressure, and yoga.
Practitioners apply pressure along meridian lines with their thumbs, hands, and feet to stimulate the movement of energy in the body, and in addition, move and stretch their clients in Yoga-like poses to free muscular and joint tension.
All stretching and pressure is done within the comfortable tolerance of the client, and the work is performed in soft comfortable garments on a mat on the floor.
Designed to be both relaxing and stimulating, Thai massage improves flexibility, reduces tension, stimulates internal organs, and balances the body's energy system.

A Traditional Thai Massage treatment will last between one hour (for a part body massage focusing on one particular problem area), and two hours for a full body massage.
A Thai Oil Massage lasts for 90 minutes and a treatment in Thai Foot Massage will usually last for one hour and the therapist may spend the last 10 minutes massaging the hands and sometimes the shoulders too.
- Bring or wear loose, warm, comfortable clothing
- Do not eat heavily in the two hours prior to treatment
- Do not drink alcohol before or after treatment
- After treatment drink plenty of water to help smooth the flow changes through the system
- Avoid strenuous or stressful activities after your session
You must tell your practitioner of any serious injuries, conditions or illnesses which you have. They can then avoid any pressure, which might be harmful, and focus on areas that will help to heal you.
